Drive It Day Group Tour - Warwickshire 2022

Join us for Drive It Day 2022 as we tour beautiful Warwickshire in this, the fourth video created from the group's very successful Gaydon weekend organised by members Anthony and Pat Osborne.

The group begins touring from base camp at Fir Tree Farm Campsite, stopping for tiffin at a scenic lookout in the Burton Dassett Hills Country Park before resuming the tour. Many other classic enthusiasts out in their own pride & joys for Drive It Day passed us with cheery waves or a toot along the way and a great time was had by all.

Group visit to the British Motor Museum - April 2022 features club members visiting the British Motor Museum at Gaydon in Warwickshire.

After meeting in the car park and taking advantage of the dedicated parking set aside for us, the group went inside for a welcome cup of tea before enjoying a guided tour of the museum's collections followed by an excellent lunch.

Huge thanks to Anthony and Pat for organising the visit for us - it was a thoroughly enjoyable visit.

This was a big weekend for our group, starting on Friday 22 April with those electing to camp for the weekend arriving at Fir Tree Farm camp site. The story follows Gar Cole towing the Fisher Holivan with his trusty Triumph 2000 from his home in the West Midlands to the Warwickshire campsite close to Gaydon, home of the British Motor Museum.

Gar stops en route to collect fellow tourist and good mates Ian Woodward and Bernard Owen, then it's onward to the campsite and the setup process begins while the other group members start to turn up in their British and European classic cars ...

We begin with Gar's very interesting interview with Andy Perman in which he introduces his gorgeous Vanden Plas 1500 which was displayed on our stand at the Resto Show in March.
